Yolanda Lara Diaz, 61, of Bryan, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, August 11, 2024. A Visitation is set for 5pm- 8pm, Tuesday, August 20th in the Chapel of Trevino Smith Funeral Home with a Rosary Service beginning at 6pm. Funeral Services are set for 11am, Wednesday, August 21st at Santa Teresa Catholic Church; with burial to follow in Bryan City Cemetery.
Born February 25, 1963 in Bryan, Texas, Yolanda was the youngest daughter of Juan and Irene Lara. Yolanda was a fun loving, family-oriented woman, who enjoyed life to the fullest and loved dancing. Loved spending time with her family cooking, or relaxing watching the ID channel. Above all, Yolanda loved her children and grandchildren deeply and cherished every second she spent with them.
Yolanda leaves behind her children to cherish her memories, Baltazar III, Augustine, Edwardo, Manual Jesus, JoeLuis, Vincent Xavier, two daughters, Selena and Rosamaria & husband Sam Martinez.
Fifteen grandchildren, Veronica Marie, Anastacia LeeAmber, Ariel Alicia, Elijah David, John Robert, Jazlen Marie, Elijah Muhammad, Chasity Faith, Kavon Lamar, Maximus Jesus, Damian, Julian, Carol, Isaiah Victory, Aaliyah Denise, and two precious great-grandchildren.
Mother Irene Lara, siblings SanJana (Rudy) Chavez, Socorro Lara, Isabel Torres, Minerva Estrada, Emilia Ruiz, Javier, John, Jesse as well as numerous other family members and friends.
She is preceded in death by, her father Juan Lara; brothers Victor and Richard; brother-in-law, Jimmy Ruiz and nephews Mario Estrada and Victoriano Lara.
