Obituary

William “Bill” Allan Pesek (31 May 1961 - 17 April 2023)

William Allan Pesek passed away surrounded by his wife and children at his Franklin, TX home of a rare form of cancer, neuroendocrine carcinoma.

Born in Kingsville, TX, Bill was the last child and third son of Ludmilla Pauline and Bohdan Joseph Pesek. He spent his childhood in Corpus Christi, Texas, graduating from Incarnate Word Academy. In 1984, Bill earned a Bachelor of Science in petroleum engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and began working for Sperry Sun/Halliburton as an MWD Engineer. In 1987, he transitioned into Petroleum Software Development and served 16 years as VP of Sales & Marketing for C.A.P.E./Nabors Industries. In 2003, Bill moved to Peloton Computer Enterprises as U.S. Sales Manager, where he remained until 2011, when he formed his own consulting and software development company, Well Lifecycle Resources, LLC.

Bill and his former wife, Lisa Raney, married in 1989 and raised four children to adulthood.

In 2014, Bill remarried Tammy Riggle, blending their six children into their life. They first resided in Kingwood, TX enjoying building their life and business as a team. In 2019, they moved to Franklin, TX, and started WLR Farm & Ranch, dba The Broken Road Ranch. Bill loved tending to their ranch while running their software business and doting on his wife, Tammy, and family. Spending time with her, their children, grandchildren, and dog Boudreaux, watching his favorite sports, and working the ranch and animals made him the happiest.

Good seems too simple a word to describe Bill, but he was so good. He had a kind, gentle spirit and loved helping others and making their lives easier. He was intelligent, witty, and delightful to be around. Bill was a million other things and a fine example of mind over matter during some of the most trying times one could go through.

Bill is survived by his loving wife, Tammy; daughters Holly (Garrett) Hahn and Ashley (Anna Watts) Pesek; sons Erik (Nicole) Pesek and Hunter (Sarah) Larsen; daughter Sara Beth (Brandon) Casarez; and son Connor Hudson; mother-in-law Louise Riggle; sister Maurine (Philip “Tony”) Tanner; brother Kenneth “Ken” (Karen Marie) Pesek; sister Karen (Jay Meador) Mayberry; sister-in-law Janet Mitchell; brother-in-law Robert “Terry”(Cathrina) Riggle, Jr.; five grandchildren, Damian, Denver, Aria, Cooper, and Ella; four nieces, three nephews, and a host of loving uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.

Bill is preceded in death by his parents, Ludmilla Pauline and Bohdan Joseph, and brother, Terence “Terry.”

Bill’s life will be celebrated on Friday, June 16, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at Wind Dancer Retreat, 8755 Burch Ln, Bryan, TX 77808.

Condolences may be sent to P.O. Box 1307, Franklin, Texas 77856, and online at http://www.trevinosmithfh.com.
