Wade Ebaugh Obituary

Wade Allen Ebaugh, 62, of North Zulch, TX passed away peacefully on March 4, 2024 at home after a brief battle with lung cancer under the care of Brazos Valley Hospice.

He was born October 23, 1961, in Grundy Center, Iowa, the Son of Donald and Marlene (Logan) Ebaugh and grew up on a farm in rural Traer, IA.  Wade received his education at North Tama High School and was a proud member of the wrestling and football team. He later moved to Texas where he began work in the oil fields.  Wade was united in marriage to Erin Stevens on June 16, 1990 and later divorced.  His career path led him to refrigeration which lasted over 30 years and most recently was employed by Koooltouch.

In his spare time, Wade enjoyed barbequing, watching college football, especially the Texas A&M Aggies. If you knew Wade he was a die-hard Aggie fan whether they were winning or losing.  Family was important to him and “Dad”, “Papaw”, “Brother” and “Uncle” were more than titles, they were an identity etched in the joy and love he shared with those who held him dear. Wade cherished every minute he got to spend with family, friends and especially his 2 grandchildren who he loved with all his heart.

He was preceded in death by his parents Donald and Marlene Ebaugh, both paternal and maternal grandparents and his Brother Ryan Ebaugh.
