Virginia Gale (Vaughan) Manning Obituary

Virginia G. Manning, 65 of Bryan, passed away Monday, July 24, 2023. A memorial service will be held at Gospel Fellowship Church in Caldwell, Texas at 11AM Saturday, August 19, 2023.

Born in Greenville, Mississippi, Virginia was the daughter of Granville and Mary Ruth (Peeples) Vaughan. As a lifelong nature lover, Virginia enjoyed bird watching and appreciated all the wildlife that visited her gardens, including a family of grey foxes. She and her husband, Ronnie, raised parrots for many years, during which time she also rescued many wild birds she later released back into the wild.  Virginia was a caring person who loved to help others, which inspired her to pursue a Doctorate degree in Psychology.

She is preceded in death by her father, Granville.

Virginia leaves behind to cherish her memories, her mother, Mary Ruth Vaughan; her loving husband of twenty-three years, Ronnie L. Manning; a brother, Delvin and his wife Connie Vaughn; as well as, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
