Victor Flores Garcia, 66, of Bryan, Texas, passed away peacefully on January 27, 2026, surrounded by the love he spent a lifetime giving to others. He entered eternal rest embraced by the promise of God’s grace and everlasting peace. Visitation will be held at 11 AM Friday, February 6th, until service time in the Chapel of Trevino-Smith Funeral Home. A Funeral Service is set to begin at 12 PM Friday February 6th, also at Trevino-Smith.

Born on February 28, 1959, in Bryan, Victor was the beloved son of Toby F. Garcia and Celia Turrubiartez. He was a devoted father, grandfather, and family man whose greatest joy came from time spent with those he loved. Victor worked hard all his life, guided by strong values, deep faith, and a heart rooted in love for God and family. Victor believed in God’s presence through life’s joys and challenges, trusting in Him for strength, comfort, and guidance. His faith shaped the way he loved others—with patience, humility, and quiet devotion—and gave him peace knowing that this life was only a chapter in God’s greater plan.

In his quieter moments, Victor found peace doing what he loved most—working on his car projects, music playing loudly in the background, a Miller Lite close by, and the world slowing down just enough to enjoy the moment. Music was woven into his everyday life, filling his auto shop and his home with sound, rhythm, and memories that will live on in the hearts of those who shared those moments with him. Victor will be remembered for his steady presence, his unwavering faith, and his ability to find joy in life’s simple blessings. While his absence is deeply felt, his family finds comfort knowing he has been welcomed home by his Heavenly Father and now rests in perfect peace.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Toby Garcia, Celia and Ramon Turrubiartez, and his sister, Isabell “Tinker” Garcia.

Victor leaves behind a family who will forever cherish his memory: his son, Victor Toby Garcia; daughters, Vvonne, Vikkie, and Olivia Garcia; brothers, Don Tonche and wife Dina, and Toby Garcia and wife Yolanda; sisters, Margaret Martin and husband Antonio, Cecilia Brown and husband Izell “Ike,” Sally Tonche Chancey, Yvonne Little and husband Bryan, and Jennifer Pavlas and husband Thomas; his 13 precious grandchildren, Vvonna, Faith, Benny, Anthony, Vanessa, Melissa, Lani, Hailey, Joseph, Makayla, Alex, Brandon, and Samuel; nine beautiful great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Victor’s legacy of faith, love, and devotion will continue to live on through his family, carried forward in prayers, memories, and the assurance that one day they will be reunited in God’s presence.
