Victalia “Vita” Velasquez
November 5, 1958 – May 6, 2023
Victalia Velasquez peacefully passed away on May 6, 2023, earning her angelic wings at her home in Navasota, Texas. She was 64 years old.
Victalia, known affectionately as Vita, was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Family meant everything to Vita, as her dedication to her loved ones was the foundation of her life. She approached each day with strength and courage, even during the most challenging times. Vita’s love for life and boundless spirit will forever be cherished in the hearts of those who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Santiago and Juanita Gonzalez, and two siblings, Mary and Pablo.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Fredy Velasquez, her children Venessa (David), Gilbert (Vicki), David (Sarah), Crystal (Lynzee), Damien, and Kayla (Anthony), and her grandchildren, Ocean, Dante, Michael, Maddi, Raphael, Elise, Mila, Natalia, and Theadora, as well as several brothers and sisters and their families.
Victalia leaves behind a legacy of profound love, compassion, strength, and dedication. Her memory will forever be treasured and her love will continue to guide and inspire those who were fortunate enough to share in her journey.
