Troy Thaddeus Rice
March 13, 1950- February 19, 2022
Troy Thaddeus Rice of Bryan passed away on Saturday, February 19, 2022, at the age of 71. He spent his career in the oilfield until he became disabled.
His wife, Debbie Floyd Rice; his parents, Gerald and Lillie Belle Rice of Vinton LA; a brother Gerald Rice Jr; and a sister, Maryanne Stewart of Vinton LA. precede him in death.
He is survived by a sister, Annette Rice Shelley of Houston TX; three nieces, Connie Talley of Vinton LA, Dara Stone of Corpus Christi TX, and Samantha Powell of Houston TX; he also leaves two nephews, Bobby Stewart of Vinton LA and Ricky Stewart of Sulphur LA.
We would like to say a special, ‘Thank you” to the staff at St Joseph’s hospital for their care and warmth during his final stay, and also to Encompass Health hospice for making sure his final days were met with dignity and respect.
His wish was to be cremated. No service or viewing will be held.
