Tony Shawn Craigo II

Tony Shawn Craigo, II, 29, of Normangee, Texas was reborn on Sunday, February 26, 2023. He was born to Maria Christina Meadors on May 14, 1993 in Dallas Texas and is the oldest son of Ronnie Meadors.
Tony moved to Normangee, Texas at the age of 15 years old. He graduated from Normangee High School in 2011, where he excelled at football and powerlifting. During his high school years, Tony diligently served as a Team Leader for VBS each year. Tony was also a volunteer firefighter with the Normangee Fire Dept. for several years. He had a love for God and for sharing God with others. After graduation, Tony went on to attend Sam Houston State University. Normangee is where he met the love of his life, Amanda and the two were married on March 11, 2017. Tony was a loving husband, amazing father, son, brother, grandson, nephew, uncle, and friend. Tony loved helping others, arm wrestling, wrestling, anime, his critters, and making people laugh. Most of all, he was known for his bear hugs. He loved his nieces and nephews as if they were his own.
Tony was welcomed home by his grandfather, Rafael Manriquez, Sr., and his uncle, Joe Carrillo, Sr.
Tony is survived by his loving wife, Amanda, his daughter, Kadince, and his son, Grayson; Mother Christina Meadors; Father, Ronnie Meadors; Grandmother, Virginia Manriquez; Brother, Justin (Hallie) Craigo; step-brother, Clifford (Tanya) McAdams; sisters, Michelle (Alan) Hughes, Kendra (Kyle) Brister, Coco Cartwright, and Cheyenne Meadors. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews: AveryMae, Emmaline, & Ellieanna Craigo, Ashton & Landon Hughes, Daniel & Ryan Brister, Paecyn, Haeger, & Harper McAdams, Jayce Simpson, Paiton & Paisleigh Carter, and Aiden Truini, along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends.
Funeral Services are set for 11AM Saturday, March 11 at the Normangee High School Auditorium with Pastor Carl Clark and Pastor Wayland Martin officiating. Visitation will be 4 to 7PM at the First United Methodist Church of Normangee.
