Tommy "Lonnie" Earl Fields 
January 9, 1962 - August 11, 2023

Lonnie Fields, 61, of Bryan, passed away on August 11, 2023. 

Born January 9, 1962, in Bryan, Texas he was the son of Edgar Fields Sr. and Una Lee Bishop Fields. Lonnie accepted Christ at an early age. He learned to be an excellent auto body shop repairman, taught to him by his father. Lonnie and his brothers were business owners of an auto body shop, on the land they grew up on. His laugh was contagious and when he smiled he made others smile. Lonnie enjoyed music, being outside, dancing, and having a good time. He really loved being around friends and family. His best friend was his daughter, Candice Fields. Lonnie was a sweetheart and would cry to cartoon movies, but shhh no one was allowed to know that! He was a legend to many around him and was very loved. Lonnie will forever be remembered as the type of man that would give his last, even if he didn't have much. Lonnie was the best friend, brother, grandpa, and dad that he could possibly be. He will be missed by all who knew him. 

Lonnie is preceded in death by his parents, Edgar Fields  & Una Lee Bishop Fields; grandfathers, Roy Fields, and Willie Burton; grandmothers, Lillian Bishop and Anna Bell Burton; three brothers, Billy Fields, Edgar Fields Jr., Roy Fields; three sisters, Joanne Sanders, Rosie Goyens, Beverly Blue; and his late life partner, Selia Escamilla.

Lonnie is survived by his four children, Lonnie Fields, Candice Fields, Blair Fields, and Christina Fields; his sister, Carolyn Fields Williams; brothers, Stanley Fields and David Fields; and grandchildren, Heaven, Gerald, Mia, Kobe, Tyson, Amora, Elijah, and Samyra.
