Terry Eugene Weeks gave his final goodbye on Sunday, August 3, 2025, surrounded by his wife, children, and grandchildren.  He fought hard until the very end in true Brother Weeks nature but lost his battle with cancer as he was tired after a 4 year long battle.

Terry was born in Chattahoochee, Florida, but moved with his family to fort Myers, Florida at a young age. He  successfully owned and ran “weeks plumbing” for over 20 years before retiring and relocating his family to Alabama in recent years. Despite the distance, he always considered Ft. Myers, FL home.  On the weekends you could usually find Terry in the roping pen with Josh, out  fishing, or grilling his “famous brotha weeks ribs”.  He was a man of many dance moves and always had a laugh ready and waiting. To his kids, he was not just a Dad but also a hero, best friend, and mentor. He was strict but fair and made sure he raised them with good morals and a good work ethic.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Lisa Weeks, and their two children, Joshua Weeks (Annsley) and Lacy (Connor) Jeffers. He also leaves behind his oldest daughter Tracy Weeks and son Matthew Weeks as well as his grandkids Callie, Matthew, Parker, Veda, Dawson, and Caden.  Other surviving family members include his mother Eva Weeks, and his loving dog Dexter. We just know he has danced his way to heaven and is turning steers on his favorite horse “lucky” with his favorite dog bear by his side.
