Steven Caine Valadez, 49, of Bryan passed away Friday, January 27, 2023. Services are set for 12PM Wednesday, February 8 at Trevino-Smith Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 11AM until service time also on Wednesday, in the Chapel of Trevino-Smith Funeral Home.

Born December 18, 1973, in Dallas, Texas he was the son of Roy Valadez and San Juanita Gonzales. Steven was a hard worker who loved his family deeply. In his spare time, Steven loved using his hands to make beautiful art and was exceptionally good at it, too!

His father; grandparents, Genaro and Juanita Gonzales; a brother, Roy Garcia Valadez Jr; and a granddaughter, Myajean Valadez precede him in death.

Steven leaves behind to cherish his memories, his beloved mother, San Juanita Gonzales and her husband Juan; two sons, Steven Valadez and wife Carmen and Bernardo de Luna; a daughter, Brianna Ramirez and husband John; three brothers, Sergio Cruz, Nicholas Cruz, and Dominik Cruz; three sisters, April Valadez Ingram and husband Brad, Alicia Cruz, and Mariah Cruz; ten grandchildren, Devon, Juana, Angel, Zaelynn, Amar’e, Reyna, Tre, Kalia, Anailah and Liliana; as well as numerous other family members and friends.
