Steven Sweed Jr.

January 1, 1976 – August 15, 2022

Steven Sweed Jr. 46 of College Station passed away Monday, August 15, 2022. A Celebration of Life Service is set for 2PM Saturday, September 3 in the Chapel of Trevino-Smith Funeral Home.

Born January 1, 1976 in Bryan, he was the son of Steven Sweed Sr. and Deoliver (Moore) Crenshaw. Barbeque was among his favorite foods. He always enjoyed taking trips to all sorts of BBQ restaurants all over the state of Texas to sample their best offerings. Steven loved to trick out his cars and do a little street racing from time to time. Sci-Fi, science, and space adventure always piqued his interest as well as Star Track, Star Wars and other space movies. Steven worked locally for Atmos Energy for over 15 years.

His parents; as well as a sister, Clara Palm; and two brothers, James Crenshaw and Wayne Crenshaw precede him in death.

Steven is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Nicole Sweed; his faithful service dog, Nala; four brothers, Alfred Crenshaw and his wife Cecil, Herman Crenshaw, Reginald Crenshaw, and Carl Sweed; he also leaves four sisters, Yolanda and her husband Bruce Veals, Brenda Turner, Betty Sweed, and Faye Sweed, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
