Ms. Sarah Ann Johnson, 62, of Bryan went into the arms of the Lord on Sunday, June 16, 2024. A viewing will be held on Thursday, June 20, 2024, at 10am, with a Graveside Service to follow at 11am at Oakwood Cemetery.

Born October 19, 1961, in Bryan, Texas, she was the daughter of Mr. Henry Samuel Johnson and Ms. Laverne Jones. Sarah was a creative soul who enjoyed sewing, reupholstering furniture and loved poetry. She was a very outgoing person who never met a stranger and was loved by everyone who knew her. To Sarah’s grandchildren, she was the best grandma in the world. She was also known for her green-thumb and favorite catchphrase “Okay.”

She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Laverne Johnson; her eldest sister, Clarise Cooper; and beloved son, Christopher Johnson.

Sarah leaves behind to cherish her memories, a son, Robert “Pete” Johnson; three daughters, Erica and husband Louis Cooper, Jessica Johnson, and, Jennifer Johnson; two brothers, Henry and Robert Johnson; three sisters, Elberta Morgan, Chelsea Haynes, and, Elouise Johnson; ten grandchildren and five precious great-grandchildren; as well as, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and, friends.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
