Ruth Janette Dunn

July 22, 1937- March 28, 2022

Ruth Janette Dunn peacefully left this world and into the arms of Jesus on the morning of  March 28, 2022.

Hallelujah, praise God from whom all blessings flow!

Mrs. Dunn, a longtime resident of Bryan/College Station, after the passing of her beloved husband Don M Dunn on 1/15/2015, moved from Dos Rios in College Station, (as Daddy called the homestead, his Texas dream, and treasure) to Brenham leaving her home in the care of her eldest son Jesse T. Dunn, with a promise to carry on her loving care of the land, a huge number of wild and migrating birds, wildlife, and cats.  

Ruth’s love of nature and all of God’s beauty was known by all.  She knew where and when every flower and grass bloomed on every acre, and when each bird arrived and ate.  

Her collection of Bibles and study materials on all religions is amazing!

As a prayer warrior she took every opportunity to share the Good News, Jesus Saves!

Ruth is survived by her daughter Linda Janette Cotter (aka Dunn), Jesse T Dunn, Don H Dunn, and his wife Arnet Davis Dunn, grandson, Jesse James Dunn, and great-grandchildren Ethan & Halie Dunn.  

Special thanks to her dear friends, the Hayden’s & neighbors Amy, The Park family, and so many others.

Private services will be scheduled at a later date.
