Rowland Lee Murphy, 51, of Bryan, went into the arms of the Lord on Wednesday, June 18, 2025. A Visitation is set for Saturday, June 21, from 3pm until service time in the Chapel of Trevino Smith Funeral Home. A Funeral Service is set for Saturday, June 21, at 4pm in the Chapel of Trevino Smith Funeral Home; burial will follow at Steep Hollow Cemetery.

Born October 8, 1973, in Houston, Texas, he was the son of Raymond Jr. and Sandra (Goin) Murphy. Rowland was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed camping and boating. He had a strong work ethic and loved his job as a small engine and ATV mechanic. Above all, Rowland was a dedicated son, husband, father and friend who loved bringing everyone together. He cherished every moment he spent with his family and will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved him.

Rowland is preceded in death by his father, Raymond Jr., and his grandparents.

He leaves behind to cherish his memories, his loving wife, Rachael Murphy; his mother Sandy Murphy; two sons, Dillon Murphy and his wife Kayla, and, Jacob Murphy; one daughter, Allison Colligan and her husband Cody; sister-in-law Stacy Dawson; numerous nieces and nephews, and many friends that he considered family.
