Rocky Kevin Peyton, 51, of Benchley, went into the arms of the Lord on Friday, September 12, 2025. A Visitation is set for Wednesday, September 17, 2025, from 5pm to 8pm in the chapel of Trevino Smith Funeral Home. Funeral Services are set for 11am Thursday, September 18, also in the chapel of Trevino Smith; burial will follow at Henry Peyton Cemetery.

Born July 6, 1974, in Bryan, Texas, he was the son of Thomas “Sonny” and Carolyn Faye (Haines) Peyton. Rocky dedicated twenty-seven years of service to Texas A&M University and the department of University Center & Special Events, —a career he took great pride in and made many cherished friends. Outside of work, he found joy in the outdoors. Rocky was an avid hunter and fisherman who cherished every opportunity to be in nature. More than anything, he loved his family deeply and treasured the time spent creating lasting memories with them.

Rocky is preceded in death by his parents, Sonny and Carolyn; his grandparents, Leonard and Ida Faye Haines; one brother, Roy Dale Peyton; as well as, many aunts, uncles, and extended family members.

He leaves behind to cherish his memories, his loving wife, Kalin Peyton; his son, Rocky Kevin Peyton Jr.; one brother, Thomas Peyton; as well as, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Rocky will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
