Robert R. Martin Obituary

Robert R. Martin, 82, of Jewett, entered into eternal rest with his loving family by his side on Sunday, November 10, 2024. A Graveside Service is set for 11am Thursday, November 14, at Wealthy Cemetery; Larry Grimes will officiate.


 Born December 4, 1941, in Houston, Texas, he was the son of Tony and Mary Anne (Thurman) Martin. Robert was a sports fanatic; he loved watching Texas A&M football, golf, and tried to make it to as many Dallas Cowboys games as he could. He was the project director at Hilltop Lakes Resort for many years and was passionate about his job. He semi-retired after leaving Hilltop Lakes and began working at Ellis Color Supply where continued to be a consultant until his passing. Robert was a phenomenal cook and loved to prepare meals for friends and family. He was loved deeply by his friends, family, and, community members.


Robert is preceded in death by his parents, Tony and Mary Anne Martin.


He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
