Richard Michael Brunner

Richard Michael Brunner, 81, of Somerville passed away Sunday, January 22, 2023. An urn internment with full military honors is set for June 17, 2023, at Houston National Cemetery.
Richard was born January 15, 1942, in Brooklyn, New York to Eugene Brunner and Ursulla Schultz. He enjoyed camping, fishing, and woodwork as well as being creative with driftwood and building models. For over 25 years, he and his wife traveled In their RV and worked in various national parks. Richard was a loyal, studious and honest man. He was hardworking and would always put his family first.
His parents, Eugene and Ursulla; as well as one son, Rick Jon Brunner; and his brother, Eugene Brunner precede him in death.
Richard leaves behind to cherish his memories, his loving wife of 57 years, Lois Brunner; three sons and their wives, Terry Brunner and wife Laurie, Scott Brunner and wife Dana; and Steven Brunner; two daughters, Lisa Brunner Babayoff and husband Amir and Connie Olson; he also leaves fifteen grandchildren, Brittany, Terry Jr. “TJ”, Brooke, Luke, Logan, Mason, Cierra, Christopher, Matthew, Amelie, Arielle, Naomi, Danielle, Katelyn, and Nikolas; along with, eight precious great-grandchildren.
