Randall F. Eubank Obituary

With heavy hearts, we say goodbye to Randall “Randy” Fred Eubank, of Bryan, TX, whose great personality and big heart touched many lives and made a positive impact on others.


He passed away Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at St. Joseph Regional Health Center in Bryan.


He was born in Bryan, TX, on October 5, 1963, to Fred G. and Katie D. Eubank (McCleney Shoemake). He was a Boy Scout in his youth and attended La Vega High School in Bellmead, TX, where he played linebacker on the varsity football team. After graduating in 1982, he began working as a grave digger. Soon after, he met Christy Shook, falling in love, and eventually marrying on July 24, 1987. Together they started a beautiful family, welcoming their first child, daughter Ashley on August 29, 1987. On March 9, 1994, their second child, this time a son named Aubrey. The next year, Randy began a painting business, putting his heart and soul into his hard work and passion.


His greatest joy was being a devoted husband, father, uncle, and grandfather. To a lesser extent, but related, he also enjoyed entertaining family and friends, hoisting barbecues, and other gatherings. He loved fishing and taking vacations to the beach.


He is preceded in death by his parents, Fred G. Eubank, and Katie Shoemake; two unborn sons; sisters Melba Kay Carr and Janice Lynn Matcek; and late wife Christy Jean Eubank.


Survivors include his sister Lou Ann Eubank of Bryan, TX; children Ashley Eubank and Aubrey Eubank, both of Bryan, TX; four grandchildren; eight nieces and nephews; fifteen great- nieces and nephews; and a newborn great-great nephew.


With gratitude, we would like to thank the wonderful medical staff at St. Joseph Hospital. Arrangements are being managed by Trevino-Smith Funeral Home in Bryan; and a Celebration of Life Service is scheduled for Saturday, July 5, 2025, 11:00am, at First Christian Church, 900 S. Ennis St. Bryan, TX 77803
