Randal Wiggins Obituary

Randal Wiggins

September 11, 1950 – June 2, 2022

Randal Wiggins, 71, of Normangee passed away June 2, 2022. Graveside Funeral Services are set for 10AM Monday, June 6, at Wealthy Cemetery. Rev’s Rick Smith and Lee Weiler will officiate and burial will follow in the Wealthy Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 5-8PM Sunday, June 5, at the Flynn Assembly of God Church.

Born September 11, 1950, in Houston he was the son of Clyde and Margalo (McElroy) Wiggins. Randal enjoyed the country life and anything that had to do with the outdoors. He loved living on the river and on any given day he could be found with a fishing pole in his hand and some bait on a hook. Being the outdoorsman that he was made owning and operating a meat market easy for Randal at a young age. He processed meat for several years but always enjoyed the camaraderie between him and his son over who was the best cook. Hunting, fishing, strumming a guitar and singing a tune were among his favorite things to do. Randal was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, and friend, and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

His parents, Clyde and Margalo precede him in death.

Randal leaves behind to cherish his memories, his loving wife of 9 years Gwennette Wiggins; two sons, Shane and wife Allyson Wiggins, and Curtiss and wife Sheryl Donahoe; four daughters, Chairety and husband Andy Pellegrin, Pam and husband Barclay Hill, Jessica Wiggins Gilpin, and Fallon Wiggins Reagans and husband Timothy; he also leaves a sister, Linda Beth and her husband Noble “Jr” Windsor along with 23 precious grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

One of Randal’s final requests was to have minimal flowers. His family request that monetary contributions be sent to Trevino-Smith Funeral Home in his honor in lieu of flowers. All contributions will be used towards final expenses and the guide fee on his farewell fishing trip.
