Philippa L. Cook, 88, of Bryan entered into eternal rest on Saturday, May 17, 2025. A Celebration of Life Memorial will be held at a later time.
Born September 13, 1936 in Tunis, Texas, she was the daughter of Manuel and Frances (Revillas) Salcido. Philippa was an outgoing, hardworking woman, who spent thirty years working in Texas A&M’s Agricultural Extension Service department. She found joy in the simple things in life; laughing with friends, dancing, and, the company of others. Above all, Philippa loved her family and cherished every moment she spent with them.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Manuel and Frances; her loving husband, Donald George Cook; and, a brother in-law Ray Jimenez.
Philippa leaves behind to cherish her memories, her daughter, Valerie and husband Tim Coones; two brothers, Manuel Salcido Jr. and wife Molly, and, Frank Salcido and wife Mari; two sisters, Janie Jimenez and Evangelina Alvarez and husband Jesse; as well as, a host of nieces, nephews, and, friends.
