       Paula Torres Vega, 92, of Bryan passed away Monday, April 16, 2018. Services are set for 6PM Thursday, April 19 in the Chapel of Trevino-Smith Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5PM up until Service time.

       Born December 25, 1925 in La Palma Cutzamala De Pinzon, Guerrero, Mexico she was the daughter of Guadalupe and Lina (Vega) Torres. Paula loved to cook, gardening, and caring for her chickens and plants. She loved taking care of her children and her grandchildren. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister and will be missed by all who knew her.

       She is preceded in death by her parents; husband of 60 years, Cornelio Luviano Carbajal; two daughters; and a son.

       Paula leaves behind to cherish her memories, two sons, Reynaldo Luviano Torres, and Carmelo Torres Luviano; five daughters, Yolanda Raquel Luviano and husband Ezequiel Munoz, Dominga Luviano Bautista and husband Agustin Bautista Arellano, Celia Torres Luviano and husband Rosalio Mares, Maria Luviano Jimenez and husband Jose Carmen Jimenez, and Reynalda Luviano Cruz; one brother, Estasnislado Vega Cruz; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
