Ora “Angie” Duncan, 101, of Flynn entered into eternal rest, Sunday, May 4, 2025.  A Funeral Service is set for 3PM Saturday, May 10, at Flynn Methodist Church. A Visitation is set for 2PM Saturday, May 10, until service time also at Flynn Methodist Church. Burial will follow at Clear Creek Cemetery.

Born April 22, 1924, in Marquez, Texas, she was the daughter of Starling H. Brooks and Arrie Grimes. Angie was known for her quick wit and was a genealogy and history buff. She enjoyed being outdoors, working on her flowerbeds whenever she had the chance. For fun, Angie loved solving crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, playing card games, playing board games like Rummikub, Boggle, and also enjoyed reading. Above all, Angie loved her family deeply and cherished every moment she spent with them.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dempsey G. Duncan; parents Starling and Arrie; sisters, Lois King, Lucy Copeland, Ella Brooks, Dorothy Harrington, Etta Hearron and Olga Jean Watson; brothers, Roger M. Brooks and Harold Brooks; grandparents, Wiley and Sophia (Vestal) Brooks, and Rain and Angie (Hodges) Grimes; a grandson, Gene Black; and one son-in-law, Maurice Gibson.

Ora leaves behind to cherish her memories, daughters, Donna Beverding and husband Stephen, Marsha Rohe and Sharron Gibson,  a sister, Ophelia Walker and husband Clayton;  seven grandchildren, Eric Beverding and wife Liz, Kyle Beverding and wife Christy, Deanna Parr and husband Brock, Brian Rohe and wife Katie, Ben Rohe and wife Kate, Sarah Corless and husband Kevin, and, Donna Monroe and husband David; seventeen great-grandchildren, Neko Beverding, Conrad Beverding, Starling Beverding, Blake Beverding, Spencer Beverding, Molly Rohe, Mason Rohe, Jenna Rohe, Austin Santikos and wife Morgan, Madison Monroe, Lydia Black, Nicole Black, Gracie Black, Kirby Parr, Carson Parr, Henry Corless, and, Oliver Corless; two great great grandchildren, Axton Santikos and Slayden Antikos; as well as numerous other family members and friends.

She will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
