Norman Eugene Duffield, 73, of College Station entered into eternal rest on Sunday, October 6, 2024. The family will be holding a private service at a later date.  

He was born November 17, 1950 in Clifton, Texas to Vaughn and Vernell (Slesh) Duffield.  

Norman graduated from Belton High School in 1968. He graduated from Texas A&M University in 1975. Norman enjoyed hunting and fishing with his family and friends. He also had a passion for woodworking and loved turning wooden bowls on his lathe. He worked at Mike Hopkins Distributing in Brenham, Texas for over thirty years, where he was the VP of Facilities. Above all, he loved his family deeply and cherished every moment spent with them.   

Norman is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and a sister. He is survived by his wife of fifty-four years, Connie (Smythe) Duffield; daughter, Desirae Harcrow, and husband, Brian; son, Nick Duffield and wife, Toni; grandchildren, Bryce Harcrow, Rylee Harcrow, Tripp Duffield, and Mia Duffield; a sister, Brenda Latham; as well as numerous other family members and friends. 

Norman will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
