Nora Mae Franklin, 97, of Bryan, Texas passed away Saturday, August 26, 2023. Funeral Services are scheduled for 10AM Thursday, August 31 at in the Chapel of Treviño-Smith Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 9 AM until service time on Thursday, August 31, also at Treviño-Smith. Rev. Keith Castleberry will officiate and burial will follow at Restever Memorial Park.

Nora was born October 7, 1925 in Houston, Texas to Carl Wayne Zimmer and Nezmae Lulu (Roberts) Zimmer. She loved reading her bible, crocheting, and solving word puzzles.

She is preceded in death by, her loving husband of 56 years, Henry Franklin Sr.; two sons, Henry Ford Franklin Jr., James Allen Franklin; two brothers; a grandson, Michael Franklin and a granddaughter, Frankie Franklin.

Nora leaves behind to treasure her memories, two sons, Steve Franklin and Paul Franklin and wife, Alice; a daughter, Sandra Crenshaw; as well as numerous grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, 34 great-great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-great grandchildren.
