Nancy Jean Carson

Nancy Jean Carson, 67, of Bryan passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 26, 2024.  A Celebration of life will be held at  11 a.m., May 17th, at Forest Park Westheimer: 12800 Westheimer Rd. Houston, TX 77077.

Born June 11, 1956, in Bryan, Texas Nancy was the daughter of James Edward Carson and Barbara Renner Lyles. Nancy was an adventurous, loving woman, with an amazing sense of humor.  She was a member of the Texas Girls Choir in her youth and traveled with them to Europe and around the country. Nancy was a paralegal for ten years and enjoyed her time working with her legal team and studying law. In her later years, Nancy enjoyed watching old police and detective shows and staying in touch with old friends. Above all, she loved her family, friends, and most of all her cats, Rudy and Sammie.

She is preceded in death by her parents, James Edward Carson and Barbara Lyles; stepfather, Henry F. Lyles; and a brother, Renn Carson.

Nancy leaves behind to cherish her memories, a brother, Henry F. III Lyles and wife Erika; sister-in-law, Connie Carson; as well as numerous, nieces, nephews, and, friends.
