Michael La Mere Obituary

On Thursday, Nov 5, 2020, Michael John LaMere passed away in his home at the age of 57. Mike was born on July 20, 1963, in Artesia, CA, the 6th child of Ronald and Joyce LaMere. He grew up in Cerritos and Temecula, CA being raised by his maternal grandmother Nancy "Nan" and her husband Mr. Paul H.C. Gundelach. He married Barbara Smith on Oct 3, 1987, on the Queen Mary in Long Beach, CA. They had two sons Justin and Douglas. Mike trained to become a truck driver and drove locally and over the road until 2016. When he was diagnosed with Lewey body dementia. He was predeceased by his father Ronald, brother Anthony, sister Theresa, Mr. Paul H.C., and Nancy Gundelach. He is survived by his wife Barbara, sons Justin and Douglas, mother Joyce, and siblings Ron, Donna, and Walter. Memorial will be held on January 16, 2020, at 1 pm Bedias Civic Center.
