Marisol Macias age, 54, Born in Dallas Texas passed away Wednesday, August 28th in Irving. She was the daughter of Rafael and Virginia Marcha Manriquez.
Marisol was known for her gentle demeanor and creative spirit. She was an excellent artist who excelled at painting and drawing. In high school, she was chosen to paint a mural of the school’s mascot, a bobcat, which is still a fixture in the school’s gym to this day. Marisol was a mentor to everyone and a jack of all trades. She was on the Normangee Volunteer Fire Department for several years serving her community. Marisol loved to travel and see new things. She also loved to spend time with her family at gatherings. Her hobbies were fishing, singing, cooking, concerts and teaching her nieces and nephews Spanish. If you had any problems she would be the one to fix it. Marisol was open-minded and never the one to judge. She loved everyone unconditionally, passionately, and fiercely as a mama bear does. Marisol would always go above and beyond to make everyone happy. She was Embraced in heaven by her father, Rafael Manriquez; her nephew, Tony Craigo and her brother-in-law, Joe Carrillo.
Marisol leaves behind to carry on her legacy and to cherish her memories, her mother, Virginia Manriquez; a son, Sergio Macias and wife Jordana; a daughter, Vanessa Macias; a niece, Hallie Craigo and husband Justin; brother, Rafael Manriquez Jr. and wife Dawn; her friend and brother in law, Ronnie Meadors; four sisters, Maricruz Manriquez, Maggie Manriquez Carrillo, Christina Meadors and spouse Tom McNichols, and Isibel and husband TL Sanders; two beautiful grandchildren, Giovanni and Julian Macias; as well as, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and, friends.
A Visitation is set for Tuesday, September 3, from 5pm to 8pm; all in the Chapel of Trevino Smith Funeral Home and Crematory in Madisonville. Funeral Services are set for 3pm, Wednesday, September 4, with a Rosary also at Trevino Smith Funeral Home and Crematory. Following the service, there will be a celebration of life for Marisol at 371 W OSR Normangee Tx. 77871
