Maria Angelita Estrada

Maria Angelita Estrada, 102, of Bryan, passed away Sunday, June 11, 2023. Visitation will be Friday, June 16 at 10AM followed by a funeral service at 11AM at Trevino-Smith Funeral Home.

Born December 20, 1920, in Maxwell, TX, she was the daughter of Bonafacio and Micaela (Ramirez) Castro. She was a faithful servant of Jehovah God. She started every morning by reading God’s word the bible with a pan dulce and coffee. She had a zeal for life like no other. She enjoyed tending to her flower garden, observing animals, and spending time with her family. Angelita was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Preceding her in death are Her parents, Bonafacio and Micaela; along with her loving husband of 49 years, Bert Estrada, two sisters, Betty Chagoya and Elena Pina, as well as a son Albert Estrada and his wife Dominga, and two grandsons Marshall Estrada and Scott Salazar.

Angelita leaves behind to cherish her memories, five sons and their wives, David and Victoria Estrada, Leo and Eugenia Estrada, Roy Estrada, Hector and Tammy Estrada, and Enrique and Tina Estrada; four daughters and their husbands, Gloria and Jesse Salazar, Guadalupe and Robert Burth, Mary Jane, and Jose Koite, and Lisa and Raul Hinojosa; she also leaves two brothers and their wives, Felix and Rebecca Castro, and Jesus and Aurora Castro; three sisters, Dominga Hernandez, Graciela Ortiz and Janie Ortiz, 34 grandchildren; 67 great-grandchildren and
numerous great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

María Angelita Estrada, de 102 años, de Bryan falleció el domingo 11 de junio de 2023. El funeral será el viernes 16 de junio a las 10 a.m. seguido de un servicio memorial a las 11 a. m. en Trevino-Smith Funeral Home.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     Nacida el 20 de diciembre de 1920 en Maxwell, TX, era hija de Bonifacio y Micaela (Ramírez) Castro. Ella era una sierva fiel de Jehová Dios. Empezó todas las mañanas leyendo la Biblia con un pan dulce y café. Tenía un celo por la vida como ningún otro. Legustaba cuidar su jardín de flores, observar animales y pasar tiempo con su familia. Angelita fue una amorosa madre, abuela, hermana y amiga. Todos los que la conocieron la extrañarán mucho.                                                                                                                                                                                                      Le preceden en la muerte sus padres, Bonifacio y Micaela; junto con su amado esposo durante 49 años, Bartolome Estrada, dos hermanas, Betty Chagoya y Elena Pina, así como un hijo, Albert Estrada y su esposa Dominga, y dos nietos, Marshall Estrada y Scott Salazar.                                                                                                                                                                              Angelita deja atrás para atesorar sus recuerdos, cinco hijos y sus esposas, David y Victoria Estrada, Leo y Eugenia Estrada, Roy Estrada, Héctor y Tammy Estrada, y Enrique y Tina Estrada; cuatro hijas y sus esposos, Gloria y Jesus Salazar, Guadalupe y Robert Burth, Mary Jane y Jose Koite, y Lisa y Raul Hinojosa; también deja dos hermanos y sus esposas, Félix y Rebecca Castro, y Jesús y Aurora Castro; tres hermanas, Dominga Hernandez, Graciela Ortiz y Janie Ortiz, 34 nietos; 67 bisnietos y numerosos tataranietos, sobrinas, sobrinos, primos, y amigos.
