Lydia Elaine Ellis, 80, of Marietta, Georgia passed away March 27, 2023.
Born July 2, 1942 in Atlanta, Georgia she was the daughter of John Oscar Beard and Margaret Louise (Bearden). Lydia enjoyed reading, playing bingo on her tablet, shopping and cooking. She loved spending time with her family and going out to eat and absolutely adored her cat, Lacey Lou Lou!
She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Margaret; her beloved husband of 48 years, Gary Ellis and two sisters, Lila Edmondson, and Terry Bearden.
Lydia leaves behind to cherish her memories, three loving daughters, Melody Reeves and husband Dan, Rebecca Beckelhimer, and Kathleen Lindley and husband Drew; one brother, Johnny Beard and wife Elizabeth; three sisters, Patsy Levine and her daughter Julvann Levine, Diane Ward and Annette Bearden and husband Thomas Harthan; six grandchildren, Danny Reeves, Douglas Reeves, Laura Beckelhimer-Tieman, Jeremy Beckelhimer, Derek Lindley and Ashleigh Lindley; she also leaves seven great-grandchildren, Roman Beckelhimer, River Beckelhimer, Lucas Beckelhimer, Savannah Beckelhimer, Jarrod Tieman, Marshall Tieman and Violet Tieman.
She will be greatly missed!
