Louise Erin Cox, 96, of Bryan, Texas, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, August 10, 2025.  A  Graveside Funeral Service is set for 11AM Thursday, August 14, at Gum Springs Cemetery in Flynn, Texas. 
Born on October 13, 1928, in Marlin, Texas, Louise was the daughter of Max John Plagens and Edith Sophia Huff. She was a hardworking, family-oriented woman who took great pride in caring for those she loved. In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing and cooking, sharing her talents generously with family and friends. Above all, Louise had a deep and unwavering love for her Lord. A devoted member of the Lutheran Church, she lived her faith each day through kindness and service. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Max and Edith; her beloved husband of 45 years, Fred A. Cox Jr.; and a daughter, Carol Cox Malkey.
Louise leaves behind to cherish her memories, sons, Charles Cox and wife, Sherry, and James (Jim) Cox and wife, Paula; son-in-law WW Malkey; a sister, Alberta Grams; grandchildren, Kristi Hutter, Alan Cox, David Cox, and Abby Parker; and numerous precious great-grandchildren.
