Loretta Marie Manuel, 66, of College Station passed away in the home of her loving sister, Rosemary on, Sunday, November 26, 2023. A graveside service will be held at a later date in DeRidder, Louisiana.
Born October 4, 1957, in DeRidder, Louisiana, she was the daughter of James Bernard and Vivian Marcello Mertens. Loretta was a dedicated travel nurse anesthetist who enjoyed seeing the Eastern region of the United States during her dedicated career.
She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Vivian Mertens and brother Tommy Mertens.
Loretta leaves behind to cherish her memories two brothers, Joseph and John Mertens; two sisters, Rosemary Teel and Patricia and husband Philip George; as well as, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, but who are grateful for her call to eternity with THE LORD.
