Laura Diane Wells, 60, of Bryan passed away Monday, February 3, 2025 with her family by her side. A Funeral Service is scheduled for 11:30 AM Thursday, February 6, in the Chapel of Trevino-Smith Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 11AM until service time, also in the Chapel of Trevino-Smith Funeral Home.   

Born July 23, 1964 in Bryan, Texas she was the daughter of Ovid Sherman Simpson and Laura Elinor (French) Simpson.

Laura enjoyed fishing and spending time with her beloved puppies whenever she had the time.

Her parents, Ovid and Laura as well as one brother, Donald O. Simpson precede her in death.

Laura leaves behind to cherish her memories, her husband of twelve years, William, “Sonny” Wells; son, Matthew Rich and wife, Meagan and Ryan Rich; daughters, DaCota McCormick, and Josie Rich;  brothers, Ronald D. Simpson and Douglas J. Simpson; sister, Donna Simpson Davidson;  and 11 precious grandchildren.
