It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved baby sister Kelly Lee-Mitchell Yocham (Lewis), after a lifetime of health struggles our Heavenly Father showed His kindness and mercy and took her peacefully home to be with Him, on August 29, 2025.

Kelly was born on May 17, 1989 in Darlington, SC the youngest of four to Henry Mitchell “Mitch” Lewis and Shiela Poston Chapman.

Surviving are her children Haley and Trey Yocham, her fiancée Johnny Barger and her three sisters Angela Kiker (Will), Jozy Adkisson (Andy), & Amanda Williamson (Trey).

She was preceded in death by her nephew Ralph Edward “Eddie” Poston,  and her parents Shiela Chapman, Mitch Lewis along with both her maternal and paternal grandparents.    Memorials or tributes can be made to the Sepsis Research foundation https://sepsisresearch.org.uk/ or the

Kelly suffered this past year from a sepsis infection that doctors just couldn’t get ahead of and her lungs already troubled with asthma from childhood just could not breathe anymore. Help us honor her by helping others find a cure.
