Juanita Zamora Prado, 74, of Bryan, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 14, 2025. A Visitation is set for Friday, June 20, from 5pm to 8pm in the Chapel of Trevino Smith Funeral Home. Funeral Services are set for 11am Saturday, June 21, at Trevino Smith Funeral Home; burial will follow at Bryan City Cemetery.

Born April 5, 1951, in Donna, Texas, she was the daughter of Manuel and Paula (Flores) Prado. Juanita was a romantic at heart who loved watching soap operas and reading romance novels.  She also enjoyed drinking coffee and spending time with her beloved grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Manuel and Paula; six siblings, Rojelio Prado, Angelita Garcia, Maria Zavala, Elizabeth Pineda, Manuel Prado Jr., and, Rosalinda Lopez.

Juanita leaves behind to cherish her memories, four children, Juan Antonio Reyes, Josefa Reyes, Regina “Vavy” Fernandez, and, Luz “Tita” Reyes; four siblings, Margarita Olivia and husband Philippe, Julia Garcia, Paul Prado, and, Edward Prado; ten grandchildren, Aaron Reyes, Adam Fernandez, Azucena Collazo, Marisol Collazo, Jonathan Fernandez, Jose Reyes, Esgar Fernandez, Christopher Guzman, Juan Reyes Jr., and, Yessica Reyes; three great grandchildren, Trey Rittenhouse, Deyon Rittenhouse, and, Victor Reyes; as well as, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and, friends.
