     Juanita Salazar, 63, of Bryan passed away Monday, October 5, 2020. Funeral Services are set for 11AM Friday, October 9 in the Chapel of Trevino-Smith Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Bryan City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8PM Thursday October 8 with a 6PM Rosary also in the Funeral Home.

     Born June 27, 1957 in Monterrey, NL, (Mexico) she was the daughter of Genaro and Olga (Martinez) Carrillo. Juanita was a happy person who would talk to everyone she met. She enjoyed roses and loved to cook for her family. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend and will be missed by all who knew her.

     Her parents, and a son, Jose Jesus Salazar precede her in death.

     Juanita leaves behind to cherish her memories her husband of 25 years, Fernando Salazar; a son, Jose Manuel Salazar Corrillo; three brothers, Jenaro Carillo Jr., Carlos and Carmen Carillo and Cezar Carillo; three sisters, Maria De Lourdes Garcia, Patricia and Jaime Jaminez , and Blanca Corrillo; and numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.
