Juanita Lemus Lara, 72, of Bryan passed away with her family by her side on Tuesday, October 8, 2024. A Visitation is set for Thursday, October 10, 2024 from 5pm to 8pm with a Rosary at 6pm; all in the Chapel of Trevino Smith Funeral Home. Funeral Services are set for 10am, Friday, October 11, at Santa Teresa Catholic Church; with burial to follow at Rest Ever Memorial Park.
Born August 27, 1952 in Killeen, Texas, she was the daughter of Arturo Lemus and Lydia Montez. Juanita loved listening to music, cooking, shopping, and, playing bingo. Above all, she loved her family deeply and cherished every moment she spent with her children and grandchildren.
Juanita is preceded in death by her father, Arturo Lemus and two sisters.
She leaves behind to cherish her memories, her loving husband of forty-three years, Raul T. Lara; her mother, Lydia Montez; three sons, Enrique Prado and wife Tina, Omero Lara and wife Zenaida, and, Raul Lara and wife Laura; three daughters, Virginia Prado, Salina and husband Jose Hernandez, and, Alejandra Lara; three sisters, Maria, Raquel, and, Irene; seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; as well as, numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Juanita will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
