     Josefina (Rios) Nava, 56, of Bryan passed away Thursday, January 7, 2021. Funeral Services are set for 8AM Saturday, January 9 at Santa Teresa Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 5-8PM Friday, January 8 with a 6PM Rosary in the Chapel of Trevino-Smith Funeral Home.

     Born March 17, 1964 in GTO Mexico she was the daughter of Carlos and Eva (Cardona) Rios. She enjoyed helping others anytime she could and always treated her children’s friends as her own. Josefina liked gardening, all kinds of plants, and cactus, but had a soft spot for beautiful red roses. Being a loving wife, mother, sister, and friend, were very important to her as well as being an honest person.

      Her father, two brothers, and two sisters precede her in death.

     Josefina leaves behind to cherish her memories, her mother, Eva Rios; loving husband of 31 years Joel Nava; three sons, Juan Rios; Joel Enrique Nava, and George David Nava and his wife Yasmin; a daughter, Josefina Elizabeth Nava Rios; two brother, Fabian Rios and Juan Manuel Rios; five sisters, Maria Guadalupe Martinez, Erica Martinez, Olivia Montero, Juana Rios and Evelyn Rios; she also leaves five grandchildren, Juan, Manuel, Cataleah, Domaris, and Avan.
