          Jose Perez Davila, 49, of Bryan passed away Saturday, October 10, 2021. Funeral Services are set for 12PM Wednesday, October 20 at Templo Sulamita Church. Rev. Henry Hernandez will officiate with burial to follow in the San Jose Cemetery in Hearne. Visitation will also be Wednesday, October 20 from 11AM up until service time at the Church.

          Born November 19, 1971, in Weslaco, Texas he was the son of Ignacio and Rosa (Rodriguez) Davila. Jose loved spending quality time with his children and grandchildren and also liked working in the oilfield and loved his Dodge diesel truck. Jose spent many hours working on the family ranch and enjoyed building and tending to campfires.

          Jose leaves behind to cherish his memories, his parents, Ignacio and Rosa; loving wife of 4 years Elva Davila; four sons, Jose Elizondo and wife Nancy, Edgar Davila and wife Daisy, Adrian Davila Sierra, Ivan Sebastian Davila;  one daughter, Priscila Davila; three stepchildren he shared with Elva, Andrew Samaripas, Jay Garcia, and Maria and husband Mario Reyes; he also leaves one brother, Jorge Davila and wife Veronica; a sister, Ivonne Elizabet Luevano; four sister in laws, Eva Samarripas, Diana and husband Roy Bermudez, Connie and husband Jose Roman, and Gloria and husband Jose Torres; as well as one brother in law, David Samaripas, and 13 precious Grandchildren.
