Jose Guadalupe Garcia

November 2, 1970 – April 9, 2023

 

Jose Guadalupe Garcia, 52, of Bryan passed away Sunday, April 9, 2023. A Celebration of Life is set for 11AM Saturday, April 22, 2023, in the Chapel of Trevino-Smith Funeral Home.

Born November 2, 1970, in Emiliano Zapata, Durango, Mexico he was the son of Guadalupe Garcia and Martina (Aguero) Herrera. He was a huge Redskins football and Aggie fan and greatly enjoyed the Braves and Lakers Basketball. Jose loved his nieces and nephews dearly. He was known as the life of the party and liked to joke around with people just to get them to laugh and smile.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Guadalupe and Martina; his second father, Celestino P. Herrera; and a brother, Jonas Garcia.

Jose leaves behind to cherish his memories, four loving sisters, Maria Garcia, Janie Garcia, Antonia Garcia White, and Ruth and Michael Alaniz; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
