Jose Gonzalez, 75, of Bryan passed away Saturday, April 4, 2020. Funeral Services will be Thursday April 9 in the chapel of Trevino-Smith Funeral Home, Father Cesar Jamie Guzman Diaz will officiate and burial will follow in the Bryan City Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 8 also at the Funeral Home.

Born September 23, 1944 in Mexico, he was the son of Cresensio Gonzalez and Agripina (Cortez). Jose enjoyed music and loved his family deeply. He was a loving father, husband,brother, and friend and will be missed by all who knew him.

 He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother, and one son, Jose Francisco Gonzalez.

         Jose leaves behind to cherish his memories, his wife of 56 years, Maria (Remedios) Gonzalez; five sons, Juan Gonzalez and his wife Micela, Fernando Gonzalez and Biatrice, Raul Gonzalez, Ruben Gonzalez and Apolonia, and Cruz Gonzalez and Jessica; two daughters, Teresa and her husband Eleuterio Ramirez, and Lilia and her husband Valentine Zapata; two brothers, Moises Gonzalez and Benjamine Gonzalez; three sisters, Juana Gonzalez, Beatrice Gonzalez and Margarita Gonzalez; twenty eight grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren and numerous friends and family.
