Jose Garcia Perez, 75, of Bryan, went into the arms of the Lord on Sunday, May 25, 2025. A Visitation is set for Thursday, May 29, 2025 from 5pm to 8pm with a Rosary service at 6pm all in the Chapel of Trevino Smith Funeral Home. Funeral Services are set for 1:30pm Friday May 30, at Santa Teresa Catholic Church; burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
Born December 8, 1949, in Valle Hermoso, Tamaulipas, Mexico, he was the son of Apolonio and Juana (Perez) Garcia. Jose was a fun loving man who loved to sing-along to all of his favorite artists; Carlos Jose, Ramon Ayala, and, Los Cadetes de Linares. He also enjoyed bringing his family and friends together by barbequing and throwing family gatherings. In his downtime, Jose liked to spend time at this local Herbalife Nutrition Club, where enjoyed talking to patrons and drinking his favorite shakes.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Apolonio and Juana; his loving wife of thirty-three years, Rosa Maria Garcia; one son, Apolonio Garcia; one grandson, Gabriel Garcia; two sisters, Leandrita and Matiana; and one brother, Encarnacion Garcia.
Jose leaves behind to cherish his memories, three sons, Juan Garcia and wife Celia, Ruben Garcia and wife Anna, and, Pedro Castillo and wife Kristy; five daughters, Quisela Lopez and husband Anselmo, Alma Arenas and husband Tomas, Ana Aguilae and husband Amador, Maria Bustos and husband Ismael, and, Christina Garcia; one brother, Antonio Garcia and wife Leticia; one sister, Eliberta Ureno, twenty-two grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren; as well as, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
