José Everardo Arenas falleció en paz en los brazos de Dios la mañana del 1 de abril de 2026. El funeral se llevará a cabo el martes 7 de abril a la 1:00 p. m. en la Iglesia Católica Santa Teresa. El Padre Noé Guerrero oficiará la ceremonia y el sepelio tendrá lugar en el Cementerio Restever Memorial Park. El velorio comenzará a las 11:00 a. m. del martes 7 de abril, seguido del rezo del rosario a las 11:30 a. m. en la capilla de la Funeraria Treviño-Smith, antes del servicio.
José nació el 20 de agosto de 1956 en Loreto, Zacatecas, México, hijo de Salvador y Raquel Arenas. Compartió 32 años de amoroso matrimonio con su amada esposa, Andrea Chávez. Disfrutaba enormemente de la naturaleza, dedicando su tiempo a cuidar su jardín o a realizar diversos proyectos. Con gran destreza manual, poseía un talento natural para la construcción y la creación. José también era un fiel seguidor de los Dallas Cowboys y un orgulloso hincha del equipo de fútbol Cruz Azul.
Su esposa, Andrea Arenas; su hijo, Edward Arenas; sus hijas, Ariana Arenas y Dayana y su esposo Robert Torres; sus hermanos, Armando Arenas, Salvador Arenas y su esposa Magdalena Juárez Chávez; sus hermanas, María De La Luz Arenas y su esposo José Rodríguez, Felicitas Williams, Juanita Arenas y Eva Campos y su esposo Armando; y sus amados nietos, Alexia Torres y Mateo Reyes, lo recordarán con cariño.
A José le precedieron en la muerte sus padres, Salvador y Raquel, y su hermano, Félix Arenas.
José vivió su vida con propósito, dedicación y amor por su familia. Encontraba felicidad en los momentos sencillos, trabajando al aire libre, creando con sus manos y apoyando a los equipos que amaba, como los Dallas Cowboys y el Cruz Azul de fútbol. Si bien lamentamos su partida, nos reconforta saber que descansa en paz y ya no sufre.
Jose Everardo Arenas passed away peacefully in the arms of God on the morning of April 1, 2026. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 7 at 1:00 PM at Santa Teresa Catholic Church. Father Noe Guerrero will officiate and burial will follow in the Restever Memorial Park. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM Tuesday April 7, followed by a rosary at 11:30 AM in the Chapel of Trevino-Smith Funeral Home prior to the service.
Jose was born on August 20, 1956, in Loreto, Zacatecas, Mexico, to Salvador and Raquel Arenas. He shared 32 loving years of marriage with his devoted wife, Andrea Chavez. He found great joy in the outdoors, often spending his time tending to his garden or working on various projects. Gifted with his hands, he had a natural talent for building and creating. Jose was also a loyal Dallas Cowboys fan and a proud supporter of the soccer team Cruz Azul.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Andrea Arenas; his son, Edward Arenas; his daughters, Ariana Arenas and Dayana and her husband Robert Torres; his brothers, Armando Arenas, Salvador Arenas and his wife Magdalena Juarez Chavez; his sisters, Maria De La Luz Arenas and her husband Jose Rodriguez, Felicitas Williams, Juanita Arenas, and Eva Campos and her husband Armando; and his cherished grandchildren, Alexia Torres and Mateo Reyes.
Jose was preceded in death by his parents, Salvador and Raquel, and his brother, Felix Arenas.
Jose lived his life with purpose, dedication, and love for his family. He found happiness in simple moments, working outdoors, creating with his hands, and supporting the teams he loved like the Dallas Cowboys and Soccer’s Cruz Azul. While our hearts mourn his passing, we take comfort in knowing he is at peace and no longer suffering.
