October 27, 1954 – May 16, 2018

       Joe R. DeLaRosa, 63, of Bryan passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2018. Funeral Services are set for 2PM Monday, May 21 in St. Joseph Catholic Church. Msgr. John McCaffrey will officiate and burial will follow in the Bryan City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8PM Sunday May 20 with a 7PM Rosary in the Chapel of Trevino-Smith Funeral Home.

       Born October 27, 1954 in Corpus Christi, Texas he was the son of Raul and Magdalena (Cantu) DeLaRosa. Joe was a musician he played the keyboard and accordion with several bands. He had an amazing personality and enjoyed telling jokes. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend and will be missed by all who knew him.

       He is preceded in death by his mother; and a brother.

       Joe leaves behind to cherish his memories his loving wife, Odilia DeLaRosa; four sons, Joe Anthony DeLaRosa, Steven DeLaRosa Sr. and wife Audrey, Jason DeLaRosa, and Elias Gonzalez Jr.; seven daughters, Zulema Saenz, Sylvia Gonzalez, Elva Chavera, Noemi Gonzalez, Ofelia Alejandro, Pricilla DeLaRosa, and Palmira Gonzalez; two sisters, Janie Mireles and Rosa Garza; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
