Jo Ann Williams (GG), 87, of Normangee passed away on Thursday, March 6, 2025. A Visitation is scheduled for 6PM-8PM Sunday, March 9, 2025 at Flynn Baptist Church. A Funeral Service is set for 11AM Monday, March 10, 2025 also at Flynn Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Clear Creek Cemetery.

Born on December 13, 1937, in Flynn, Texas, she was the daughter of Lorene Byrd. In her spare time she loved to have coffee with her friends, enjoyed listening to music, going to restaurants, and especially loved cooking for everyone she cared about. Above all, Jo Ann cherished the time spent with her family, especially when it came to celebrating the holidays with them. She will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Lorene, her grandmother "Mamaw" Minnie Byrd, and two husbands, Harmon Lee Copeland and Douglas Gene Williams

Jo Ann leaves behind to cherish her memories, a son, Joe Lee Copeland and wife, Laney; three daughters, Susan L. Aguirre and husband, Roy, Linda Harrod and husband, Brad, and Teresa Taylor and husband, Tom; seven grandchildren, Brigitte (Cedrick), Jason (Kaley), Aaron (Ashley), Joshua, Lisa (Zane), Kelli (Clay), and Michael (Danielle); nine great-grandchildren, Emma, Ced, Mason, Hannah, Mollie, Colin, Lee, Lucas, and Ellie Jo; and two precious great-great grandchildren, Ruby and Abby.
