Jesus “Chuy” Espinoza, 74, of Bryan passed away with his family by his side on Sunday, March 23, 2025. A Visitation is set for Friday, March 28, 2025 from 5pm to 8pm with a Celebration of Life at 6pm; all in the Chapel of Trevino Smith Funeral Home. A second Visitation will take place the following Friday, April 4, 2025, from 5pm to 8pm, in Alice, Texas at Rosas Funeral Home. A final viewing is set for 10am Saturday, April 5, 2025 at Rosas Funeral Home; burial will follow at Collins Cemetery.

Born December 5, 1950 in Alice, Texas, he was the son of Jesus and Maria (Munguia) Espinoza. Chuy spent his youth in Alice, Texas, moving to Bryan in 1999. He spent over forty years serving the Bryan-College Station community as a barber. He took great pride in being a barber and truly loved his job. In his downtime, Chuy enjoyed traveling, fishing, golfing, and could often be found napping outdoors. He was also a huge fan of classic rock n’ roll and tried to see as many live shows as he could.

Chuy is preceded in death by his parents, Jesus and Maria; a son, Jensen Tate Espinoza; his former wife, Betty Espinoza; and his sister, Esmeralda “Molly” Acevedo.

He leaves behind to cherish his memories, two sons, Robert “Bobby” Espinoza and Trenton “Coy” Espinoza;  two daughters, Angela de Jesus and husband Salvador and Jeanette Rico;  two former wives, Terry and Teresa; two brothers, Ernest Espinoza and Pedro Espinoza and wife Nora; a brother in law, Roberto Acevedo Jr.; ten grandchildren, Robert Anthony Espinoza, Vanessa Guiterrez Espinoza, Mariah Gonzalez, Seanna Rodriguez, Christopher, Raymond, Jermiah, Julius, and, Andrew; one great grandchild, Kylie Lynn Lapasnick; bonus kids, Caden and Derrius; several nieces and nephews; as well as, a host of extended family, clients, and, friends.

Chuy will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
