Jessie "Chuy" Ramirez

Jessie "Chuy" Ramirez, 66, of Bryan passed away Thursday, July 20, 2023. Funeral Services are set for 10AM Friday, July 28 at Santa Teresa Catholic Church. Father Albert will officiate and burial will follow in the Bryan City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8PM Thursday, July 27 with a Rosary at 6PM in the Chapel of Trevino-Smith Funeral Home.

Born July 1, 1957, in Bryan, Texas he was the son of Jose D. and Mary (Mendez) Ramirez. Chuy liked playing pool, pitching horseshoes, and always enjoyed a good football game, rooting on his favorite teams the Aggies and Steelers. Jessie looked forward to taking his Sunday drives. But most of all he loved watching Gun Smoke or any old western, even though he had seen them numerous times before.

His parents, Jose D. and Mary Ramirez; and one brother, Joe M Ramirez precede him in death.

Chuy leaves behind to cherish his memories, his three sons, Chris and his wife Lakesha Ramirez, Charles Lee Ramirez, and Joe Angel Ramirez and Katherine Flores; along with his significant other of ten years, Lanora Ramirez; one brother, Ben Ramirez and Lidia Vasquez; two sisters, Josie Barron and Jessie Barron, Janie and TJ Houston; along with 6 grandchildren and 1 precious great-grandchild.
