Jeffrey Foster Obituary

A Visitation is scheduled from 11 AM until service time Saturday, February 28 in the Chapel of Trevino-Smith Funeral Home & Crematory in Madisonville, Texas. A Funeral Service will begin at 12 PM on Saturday, February 28, also at Trevino-Smith. Burial will follow at Midway Southside Cemetery in Midway, Texas.
“Boss Hogg” was more than a nickname. It was who Jeffery was. He stood firmly in his truth, spoke with purpose, and meant every word he said. A devoted oil field worker, Jeffery built his life on hard work, grit, and endurance. He was dependable and solid, the kind of man others could count on when times were heavy. He showed up, always.
At his core, Jeffery was a family man. He found his greatest joy in his loving wife, Daniesha Foster, and his children, Kennedy Foster, Jeffery Foster Jr., Amarri Foster, Billy Foster, Jessie Foster, Jada Foster, and step-daugter Chassidy Hightower. His grandchildren, Ezmai Franklin, Kyrie Myers, Lúmine Delilah Lopez, and Lúmiere Devon Lopez, were his pride and his living legacy.
Jeffery was the beloved son of Alice Shields and Jimmy Foster, stepson of Darryl Shields, and sisters to Moshekia Betts, Jermica Foster, Jasmine Foster, Jennifer Thomas, and step-sister Jazmine Phoniex, and his brothers Jimmy Witherspoon, Jerald McGilbert, Jason Barco, Jeremy Foster, Jarmarcus Thomas, and stepbrother Artis Ross. He is also fondly remembered by a special aunt, Glenda Kinney, along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and dear friends whose lives he touched deeply.
He reunites in peace with his sister Jennifer Witherspoon, his stepbrother Kaveon Riles, and his loyal companion, Ace.
Jeffery lived boldly and loved deeply. He enjoyed anime, fishing, cooking, riding horses, country music, and bringing his family together. He stood firm in his beliefs and lived by words that now echo even louder: “Who you with and stand up under it.”
A faithful man of God Jeffery carried strength in his shoulders, fire in his spirit, and love in his heart. He was protective, outspoken, dependable, and unforgettable.
Though his voice is now quiet, his legacy remains strong.
Forever, Boss Hogg.
Forever loved.
