James Richard Lee Obituary

James Richard Lee, 40, of Bryan, TX, peacefully passed away on December 16, 2023. He was a caring father, brother, and son, and his family mourns his passing with heavy heart. James was born on December 22nd, 1982, in Bryan, Texas, and received his education at Brazosport High School in Freeport, TX. He had a deep fondness for the outdoors, his children, Renaissance festivals, and music.


James was preceded in death by his grandmother Etta Viola Gibson of Calvert, TX; Inez Sanchez of Bryan, TX; and Linda and Willie Claude Foster of Richards, TX. He is survived by his mother, Jewel Anderson of Bryan TX; his father, James Ebert Lee of Belmead, TX; and his step-father, Kenneth Anderson of Clute, TX. James also leaves behind his daughter, Akira Lee, and his son, Amari Lee, of Wild Peach, TX. He is also survived by siblings Rebecca and Gary Miller, of Bryan, TX; Nic Woodward of Bryan, TX; and Kenneth Wesley and Dana Anderson of Jones Creek, TX; A niece Leslie Perkins and a nephew Nathaniel Miller of Bryan, TX.


James's life may seem too short to many, but to those who were touched by him, it was quality over quantity that mattered. Please join us for a memorial service to celebrate the life of James. We will gather together on February 4, 2023, at 3 o'clock at Southwood Community Center, 1520 Rock Prairie Rd, College Station, TX 77845, To remember this wonderful father, son, friend, and brother who will be greatly missed.
