Isaiah Léon Olivarez-Martin, 15 of Bryan and Caldwell, Texas, was unexpectedly called to be with the Lord on June 17, 2023, in Caldwell, Texas. Services are set for 2 PM Friday, July 21, 2023, in the chapel of Trevino-Smith Funeral Home, with burial to immediately follow at Bryan City Cemetery.
Isaiah was born on February 6, 2008, to parents, Monique Eastep Olivarez and Joshua Carson Martin. He was one of four siblings. Isaiah had quietness about him. He had an unassuming nature, yet he harbored profound love and compassion in his heart. In his young life, he resonated faith, wisdom, and courage. Isaiah loved all his family and friends and enjoyed spending time with all of you. He also loved his iPhone and air pods, where he enjoyed listening to music. He enjoyed traveling and he was about to start learning how to drive. He attended the Mother's Day Out program in Caldwell, Pre-K in Odessa, Texas, and Kindergarten - 8th grade at First Baptist School in Caldwell. He then attended Caldwell High School and Texas Virtual Online School for his freshman year of high school. Isaiah was a member of the New Height Church in Bryan and Abundant Life Tabernacle in Caldwell. In his early elementary years, he played soccer and baseball with the community in Caldwell.
He is preceded in death by a sibling; his maternal great-grandparents, Minnie and Bobby Eastep and Adan and Elma Olivarez; one cousin, Gavin Liam Olivarez; Aunt Lynn Eastep; Uncle Michael Olivarez, paternal great-grandmother, Mary McMillian; and Aunt Margie. Also, numerous loved ones precede Isaiah in death.
Isaiah is survived by his mother, Monique Eastep Olivarez, and stepfather, Jesse Camarillo; sister, Alyssa Olivarez; brother, Jerimiah Olivarez-Camarillo; maternal grandmother, Minnie Elaine Eastep Olivarez; grandfather, Oscar Mungia Olivarez and Selma Gonzalez; two aunts, Carolynn Olivarez, and Erika Olivarez; uncles, Frank Eastep, Marcial Olivarez, and Eloy Olivarez; cousins, Adrian, Brandon, Camryn, Drako, Elaysiah, Fadan, Haliyah, Michael, Alec, Bryan, Gracen Olivarez, Damien, and Devon Cruz; his father, Joshua Carson Martin; sister, Isabel Martin; paternal grandparents, Candice and Craig Sneed; grandfather, Russell Martin; along with his uncle, Jacob Rodden and many more loved ones. Isaiah will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
